Starting my own buisness?
Hi, i am currently designing and making my own dog collars, i want to open my own buisness from this and start selling pet supplies. The only problem from this is i do not know the first thing about registering a buisness and all the know how that goes with it. I would like to register as a limited company but found out today there are 4 types of limited companies you can register for, i have no idea which is best. I want to start an online shop selling my products and the supplies i buy from wholesale.
Can someone help me with any advice about registering a buisness, starting an online shop and buying wholesale.

Four types of limited companies? I’m not sure what you’re talking about. Not only that but you didn’t say what state or even country you are in.
If you are in the U.S., the possibilities depending on your situation, the type of business, number of owners, and your preferences are as follows as I know them to be:
sole proprietorship
partnership
limited partnership
limited liability partnership
limited liability company
s-corporation
c-corporation
nonprofit organization
nonprofit corporation
Each business structure has its own rules and guidelines depending on the state in the U.S. you are in since each state makes their own rules. Each will also be handled differently by the federal and state governments for income and other taxes and registration purposes.
If you are in the U.S., I would suggest you learn about each business structure because there is no right answer for everyone. Every one of the business structures has its pros and cons so you have to learn about each one and then choose which one you prefer based on which pros you prefer and which cons you absolutely don’t want.

This site has quality free information and books written by lawyers for more in-depth information. The more you learn about each business structure, the more likely you will make the best choice and not have to go through the hassle and expense of changing your business form later. Each form has different registration costs also.
If you see a book you’d like to purchase, I’d suggest you read its reviews on Amazon.com before purchasing. I always try to stay with books that are rated at least 4.5 – 5 stars and have at least 5 reviews. 
Starting an online shop and buying wholesale? Wow! Those questions are just too general involving two such big subjects. I don’t know what you wish to know. I’d suggest you look to Amazon.com as I do when I want to learn about something complicated. Learning is a slow process, especially if you’re a slow reader like I am, but the smarter you get and the more you learn, the more likely your business will be a big success.
