Purina Pet Products Recalled
Do you feed your cat Purina Complete?
My 1 yr old male indoor cat (having JUST switched from kitten chow to purina complete) started exhibiting signs of neurological deterioration- paresis, showing the third eyelid, inability to stand or walk or use the litter box. The vets tested him for Diabetes, FIP, toxoplasmosis and a number of other diseases and infections. All tests came back negative and I was faced with the decision to put him down. before doing so- I switched his cat food and the vet put him on steroids. he slowly regained mobility… The vets believe that it was the cat food which caused his symptoms.
However Purina is not on the product recall list (as of today). but I just wanted to let everyone know my story, in case it would help another family and their pet avoid this misery!
OMG! So sorry to hear about this you must be just absolutely heartbroken. We don’t feed with any of the commercial brands only high quality foods called Innova.

I know this doesn’t bring your cat back, but I wonder if you could contact these people to bring about another recall or class action suit against Nestlé owners of Purina pet food products.
