Pet Products Marketing Association

Do you support corporate Welfare?
Why are we keeping the MAP program which costs taxpayers $200 Million per year so corporations can market internationally? Can’t corporations do their marketing on their own dime?
“Here are some highlights (lowlights) of who is being paid to market their products overseas:
Wine Institute – $7,481,814
Sunkist Growers – $4,202,886
Pet Food Institute – $1,434,572
Brewers Association – $313,279
The Popcorn Board – $177,928
Of the $200 million allocated for this program, $727,000 is set aside for “Evaluation.” That is less than 1 percent. That does not give taxpayers much hope that real scrutiny will take place.”

878 BILLION in the stimulus package and only about 3% going to infrasturcture. That is the biggest waste of money in the history of the planet.
