Pet Products Made In China
We all know that the bottled drinking water led to the creation of vast amounts of waste. Americans alone are adding 30 million PET water bottles in the landfills every day! Much of the plastic material that the results of PET bottle recycling end up going unused. Even the manufacture and transport of bottles takes a toll in the form of millions of barrels of fossil fuel consumed.
The fact is that the use of a reusable water bottle is good for the environment. However, all the reusable bottles are not created equal. So what are the options?
Plastic bottles. There are many types plastics used in bottled water, and there is much debate to those who are safe and which can leach harmful toxins. For the sake of this article, I'll leave plastic on the list for the simple reason that I can do not taste the water that was sitting in a plastic bottle for a day. I like my water taste like water.
Glass bottles. Glass is an excellent choice for taste and the environment. Unfortunately it is impossible to glass, a portable water bottle so I'll leave too.
Aluminum bottles. Aluminum bottles are usually the most expensive option, but are also the most wide range of fashionable colors and styles. Aluminum is lighter than steel, so if you move you can lighten the load a bit. Because of the possibility of leaching aluminum in water, aluminum bottles usually have a coating to prevent leeches. Some people have reported the layer that has an impact on the taste of water, while others do not notice the taste at all.
Steel cylinders are stainless steel, a neutral metal does not leach. Steel was the choice of food for this reason. The latest stainless steel bottles are lightweight and generally have a larger opening that allows the addition of ice cubes – something to consider these the warm days. Steel is my personal choice. In my opinion, I get fresh water from the most stainless and I love the opening.
After all, the aluminum water bottles and stainless steel are excellent choices for you and the environment. Your final decision will most likely into a personal style and "flavor."
