Sleeves in gerbils do not know, but it looks very good. Rodent cages should be a maximum height because the animal did not need the height. I have had several hamsters. Same I said that with the gerbil, an area that is not the height. It also receives a door at the top of the cage to prevent easy escape. Ramps are not nessecity.
