Out of experience, I would not buy hamster cages marketed. Instead, purchase a glass aquarium. Find the perfect size for their needs, and make sure you buy a cover for her. If you go to Petco, one can find a variety of sizes (both tops and tanks). They are also generally less expensive, if not as much as buying a normal hamster cage. And the best part is, not used as normal hamster cages. And cleaning much easier! On the other hand, have no odor urnine plastic cages. Just make sure you buy the small tunnels, etc stick there to play. Good luck!
