I need some ideas for my photography studio……..?
Hey all!! I would like to offer some products to sell at my photography studio.
I have a gorgeous studio where I do all of my indoor shots for kids, seniors, families, pets, etc. However, I want to offer products that will bring people in my studio for other reasons than just getting their pictures taken.
I tried selling picture frames, but it did not bring in much business. I also do sell my work, which sells very well, but I would like to offer my customers a little more.
Does anyone have any suggestions? My studio is located in the heart of our downtown city and there are other really neat little shops around.
I also have two very large front rooms in my studio that I only use at the moment for displaying my work, but these two rooms would be ideal for neat little things for sale.
I was thinking of things that people could buy to go next to their pictures….candles, knick knacks, etc.
Any other unique ideas?????
Hmm. That is a good question. Something that really ties in to what you are already doing would make the most sense.
If you do weddings, I could see things like bridesmaid/groomsmen gifts. For senior portraits, maybe work an arrangement with the local schools where you can use their logo on different types of mechandise? You pay them a percentage.
It is a very good thought on your part, but I agree it is a tough one.
