If your dog is sprayed with a skunk, what is the best remedy to "de-smell" of your pet?
My dog spends most the day outside their race big garden. At night we walked and sometimes hear rustling in the bushes can be raccoons, skunks, etc … I was curious and I make sure that no explores the movement …. The other day while driving a squirrel got in the way by jumping from a mailbox plantings … I was wondering what others do, experience or knowledge. What do you think is the best way is to cut and spray of skunk smell if a dog is a direct hit. Echoes of the tomato juice bath, lemon, strawberry special smell ….. please name products or methods. Most appreciate the information … hopefully not to use the information in the future …. we strive to avoid the darker areas bushy. Thank you all !!!!!
Gat is mixed in a bucket of 2 bottles of 2 / 1 hydrogen peroxide cup baking soda, a squirt of liquid dish soap. sponge in the dog and let stand for 10-15 Mintues wll rinse with clean water. My dog skunked about once every two months and it works much better than anything I tried. Forget the tomato juice that's much better.
