How can an immigrant who has just built a huge fortune few Canarias

In the 1920's, Germany was by soils. The great ancient empire was dismantled, the powerful army humiliated by its defeat in the First World War and the cold and hungry live in despair. The companies that have had success before the war have been decimated by the result. There was no means of subsistence. For many Germans the only reasonable option available to lead a better life was to emigrate to America.
Before the outbreak of the First World War, Max Stern had successfully operated a textile company. The ravages of war left him no factories, no customers and no financial options to play with its large number of operations before the war back together. Along with thousands of people, Mr. Stern fled the post-war Weimar Republic in Germany in the 1920's. He landed in New York almost penniless, but with a plan that is working rebuild his fortune.
Stern was not about compassion for their fate. I was down, but only temporarily, as he brought more to America than dreams. Also tipped over 2000 canaries. At the time it was considered a bit eccentric, having spent money to pass a flock of small birds. Nobody would predicted that the population would become the basis for the construction of a U.S. fortunes larger family.
Max Stern, immediately began canaries selling pet shops and giant chain stores Woolworth dime. Birds should be housed also sells cages. Had to be fed, so he came and sold food for birds. Over the next 30 years, built his business, Hartz Mountain, the parent of animal supply company in the country. At the time of his death in 1980, Hartz Mountain Corporation controls more than 80% of market pet products.
Son Max Stern, Leonard Stern, joined the family business and has contributed greatly to extend the tentacles of the corporate real estate finance, hotels and publishing. To focus on this huge pool of assets, the Stern family sold the business pet products in 2000.
Today, Hartz Mountain Industries (MHI), the Stern family holding company, is one of the owners of property largest private in the U.S.. MHI has received spectacular investment returns and development of the Meadowlands marshes of New Jersey in large industrial parks. The company had developed large areas of the coast of the Hudson River in New Jersey. Office towers in New York some of the highest incomes in the country business, added that the crown jewels of the operator.
Stern Leonard Stern edition built from scratch in one of the largest publishers weekly city magazines, owners The Village Voice, Cleveland Free Press and Harmon Homes, real estate guides. The company was sold in 2000.
Leonard Stern is often classified as one of the richest men in America. He inherited a fortune from his father Max immigrants, however, drive and ambition has much to take these resources and expand the wealth of the Stern family to dizzying levels. All this product, as Max had the vision to carry out the transition fatal in a distant country with a bold new action plan.
This inventory a small itinerant German canaries could be the starting point of a commercial empire in the world, being thriving after 90 years is a testament to the genius of the American system of capitalism, and the special value of immigrants and the willingness to use this system for advantage. A version of this story has been repeated endlessly, with many varying degrees of success over the history of the United States. Waves of immigrants arrive here every years as the search for the "right to happiness."
Not all succeed, but everyone has the opportunity to pursue their dreams in particular. Very few people will enjoy commercial success without braking the Stern family has experienced. However, millions and millions of immigrants come to this country to assess its potential and exploit the endless possibilities available to them by the immersion of the United States and financial reward.
Today we are experiencing a serious economic hiccups. It will pass. We will recover. Opportunities in this country have never been higher. Immigrants and foreigners who dream of emigrating to the United States know that there is no better place than this country to pursue happiness. They seem to appreciate what this country has to offer over some of us had the same sort of being born here. We should never have the greatness of America for granted.
